Last year a group of mismatched athletes set out to be the first female team to run Ontario’s Bruce Trail from end to end uninterrupted. For almost 6 days, with one woman running at all times, the team made their way across southern Ontario – running the 894km trail in one continuous journey. But the project was about more than the time it took – it was about being the first female team to do it, and using that platform to tell a story. A story about fear, leadership, inclusion, and why 15 mismatched women would take on the big bad Bruce.
