FEAT 2017 Speaker – Greg Foweraker
Greg Foweraker believes that the quality of a climbing adventure is influenced by the ability to draw inspiration from the rich past of those who came before us. It all started with an Australian art gallery where 19th century European impressionist painters became a metaphor for a climbing and business career.
Drawing on the creativity of past generations Vancouver based climbers, Greg enjoyed the company of friends over a wide range of character building adventures which her terms “holidays”. An adventurous spirit, Greg has been known to free-climb routes on the Squamish Chief, go on alpine climbing adventures throughout North America, and go cragging in Asia. He argues that the key to a deeply fulfilling experience is to be inspired by past adventurers and to dream big while being open to flexibility to events as they unfold.
