Our next speaker found climbing at a young age. Following in the footsteps of her older siblings, Vikki Weldon first discovered her love for the vertical life within the dusty wall of the Calgary Climbing Centre. As the years progressed, Vikki was introduced to the limestone crags hidden away amongst the giants that are the Canadian Rockies. This began a love affair with the outdoors that has never ended.

Vikki has competed in international competitions, and is one of the few Canadian women to have climbed 5.14. Yet these accomplishments were not achieved without some help.

Vikki is here to share with us how her mentors have shaped her love for climbing, and how a newfound mentor recently made a profound impact on her progression as a climber.
