She is an ACMG Rock and Ski guide. Most of her time is devoted to outdoor recreation, specifically rock climbing, alpine climbing and backcountry skiing.

She loves the outdoors, hiking and backcountry skiing but wants to try the more technical stuff so she started climbing last 2000. She was attracted to the lifestyle, the climbing camaraderie and the mix of physical and mental challenges that the climbing sport offers. She has started her climb at Burgers and Fries, 5.7, Squamish British Columbia.

If she is not climbing you can most possibly find her snuggled up to her dog, Benny, maybe backcountry skiing, some cooking, reading, and mountain biking. One of her most memorable adventures are guiding her parents to Bugaboo Spire and hiking the Valhalla Range in 3 days with her sister as well as finishing up War and Poetry in Greenland amidst a raging storm.

As time went on, she has earned milestones in her career, particularly being a certified ACMG Rock Guide and Assistant Ski Guide as she had already ascended peaks in Canada, Greenland, France, Greece, Italy, Australia, Thailand, Mexico and the USA, particularly the Fallen Arches (5.13a), Little Cottonwood Canyon, Moonlight Buttress (5.12+) and Zion National Park, Utah. She has also ascended Nalumasortoq and Ulamatorsuaq, Tasermiut Fjord, Greenland and completed a long 14 day self-supported ski traverse or Monarch Icefield, near Bella Coola, British Columbia.

With all her accomplishments, it’s no wonder that she has earned some of the longest resumes in the climbing world. And she is not done yet. With her husband, Evan, at her side, she is still conducting tours and rock climbing expos and traveling around the world looking for the next opportunity to do an ascent, a climb or a ski. Who knows, maybe she can climb all the vertical cliffs and might just pop into your neighborhood?
